One of our only days off for the entire tour, today was spent relaxing and recharging in preparation for the long days and weeks ahead. Our gracious hosts Pat and Paul made us a delicious breakfast of two different quiches, bacon, fresh strawberries, and delicious coffee.
We spent the rest of the afternoon writing and preparing a script for our Kickstarter video. I'll explain Kickstarter in more details later, but in brief, it's a website that allows artists a public forum to raise money for a personal project, say a new album, by asking for donations online. All you have to do is post an online video and offer some nice incentives to the donors. I'll post a link to the final video when it is finished, but for now...here is an outtake from our shoot in downtown St. Louis with me trying to explain where we are a little about the album.

When we returned home, we were treated by Paul and Pat to home smoked St. Louis style ribs, tasty salad with St. Louis specific cheese, beans, and a coconut cake can that can only be described as awesome. We really don't want to leave here, but we'll be hitting the road again Monday morning and heading to Indiana. More to come.
